Mal and Sue.

Sue and Malcolm McClure run a family business based around sheep and wool. You could say it’s in their DNA. They have a love for this natural, sustainable fibre. They operate from their property in the South -West of Victoria. The product is Australian grown.

Sue’s passion for working with wool has been developed over a lifetime. Now she has taken her interest in home and domestic knitting and is expanding it to a commercial level still in the heart of wool country on her family farm at Pigeon Ponds.

Wool supplied by the dedicated, careful and skilled work undertaken by growers in Tasmania, is formed into bespoke,
zero waste garments and items knitted on state-of-art machinery.

Care for the product starts with the care for the environment and stock that is an intrinsic part of the business. The same values, goals and mission of this new branch of the farm’s enterprise maintains the approach that has always been part of how Sue and Mal do everything; with integrity, honesty and sustainability, using only natural products.

The wool is spun from high quality Merino, RWS certified and traceable right back to the point of origin through a supply chain that makes the gentlest
footprint on the environment.

At the heart of the circular natural business model, is the Untied Nation’s 17 sustainable Development goals.

With such solid natural foundations, the only result can be a superior product that is natural, sustainable and has the quality that comes with a dedication to making the best wool products that are not just a purchase, but an investment.

You will not be spoiling yourself by buying our products, you will simply be giving yourself what you, and the environment deserve.
Care, nurturing and the respect for the environment and the process of enhancing a natural, sustainable fibre.

What we believe in.

Sue and Malcolm farm at Pigeon Ponds near Harrow, Victoria with their children and grandchildren.

They care about sustainable farming practices and the environment in which they work and live.
They are concerned about the volume of clothing that is dumped in landfill and the environmental damage caused by microfibres.

Sue and Malcolm are passionate about wool, its endearing qualities, properties and versatility and they want to see more wool manufactured into garments in Australia where it is grown.
Products will be non-seasonal and be part of the circular fashion economy with the option for garments to be returned to the point of manufacture.

Sue and Malcolm embrace sustainable farming practices, the way they choose to live their lives and will bring this commitment to their knitting business to ensure that it is sustainable in the long term and provides a manufacturing component that has a minimal impact on the environment.

Sue and Mal believe wool is the fibre all other fibres wish to emulate.
